Dr. Potluri was awesome, explaining the details of the procedure that he intended to perform on my heart. He was easy to converse with and described every detail of the process.

My husband had a heart attack while we were on a work trip in Miami 12/7/24. University of Miami hospital gave us a very grim prognosis. They told us, my husband only has one artery working. Everything else was 98%,100%, 100% blocked The only choice we had was medicine management to maintain quality of life. I can't even write this. We were devastated! My husband is very young, lead an extremely active lifestyle as an ex ballroom dance competitor and ballroom dance coach. He's already had a bypass 11 years ago due to severe genetic coronary artery disease. We were told that unfortunately we were not a good candidate for another bypass or stent procedure. We came back to Texas 12/11/25 and met with his regular cardiologist on 12/12 morning. After literally begging for a way to find a solution he gave us a very unemotional response, well you already knew you had coronary artery disease. What!?! I'll give him one thing , he did recommend Dr. Potluri as my husband needed a CTO (chronic total occlusion)expert to view his case. Unfortunately he was out of network. I went on the hunt to find a doctor that would accept my insurance and had the knowledge, expertise and faith that he could save my husband. After talking to countless cardiologist and doctors from all over USA to find "the person who could save my husband's life" I kept hearing one name-If anyone could save my husband, it was Dr. Potluri. Miracles started happening after 10 days of being back. It was open enrollment season and I could change my insurance. I quickly did that, so at least for the new year we would have Dr. Potluri in our network. We somehow got an appointment with Dr. Potluri to view our case. Our current insurance covered him as a specialist appointment. He spent so much time reviewing my husband's records, pictures, videos and asking us questions. At the end of the appointment he put his hands on my husbands shoulder and said "don't worry, I got you. We're going to try to open your arteries up. " The confidence, humbleness and his approach to giving us faith when everyone else gave us bad news was life changing. We cried like babies after he left the room. 1/10/25 Dr. Potluri saved my husband's life! To this day when I mention his name in Baylor, the staff, nurses, fellows and doctors say things like "oh, you have the best doctor in this whole hospital", " don't worry Dr Potluri saves patients that other doctors give up on" , "Dr. Potluri is the number one doctor in the Northern hemisphere", I know many many doctors due to my community, family, friends and non profit volunteering. So many doctors told me he's like a demi-god in the medical community. I know this is long, but I needed to do justice to this man and what he's done for us. I'm a repeat customer, now my dad needs intervention. Here we go again. I'm fact I'm about to leave for his appointment to see him. I hope my review helps.

Had severe arterial blockages . He spent about 4 hours clearing then implanting 4 stents . Less than 20 hours I feel great with much energy . His explanations to me and my wife was thorough .

Outstanding interventional cardiologist! Took his time with my husbands complex heart issues. His positive attitude and bedside manner certainly helped relive so much stress. We highly recommend this d octor.

This is absolutely one of the most knowledgeable cardiologists we've had the pleasure of working with. Lifesaving knowledge he is kind and easy to talk to and was a key member of our team that saved our fathers life. Outstanding work! Would recommend him to anyone with complex heart issues.
