Patient Reviews

Patient

I find it near impossible to get through to anyone on the phone. The recording says they are closed, but I am calling during office hours. My primary doctor who referred me to Peterman in the first place, has twice requested my records from HeartPlace and the requests have been ignored. Their website makes you choose a location (out what seems to be dozens of locations) before you can request patient records yourself, which I shouldn't even have to do if they would just comply with the provider's request. I will not review the doctor himself at this point since I am frustrated with the practice because I cannot get my records.

The Dr and medical staff are great. The staff over the phone (had basic date of billing question, that was ultimately answered) were markedly rude and dismissive. This was disappointing and quite surprising. I did not feel comfortable and will consider another practice after my next appointment.

Doctor/Nurse practitioner were all good except billing/scheduling coordinator. She was so rude. One minus star is for that.

I've been a patient at HeartPlace now for 5 years. In that time I've always been highly satisfied with the professionalism of all of the staff. My cardiologist Dr Peterman has always been very welcoming and easy to talk with. He takes the time to listen and help me clearly understand treatments and options.

Dr. Peterman is a good doctor: however, his office staff are rude, apathetic, and arrogant with no respect for the clients. I have had one of the worst experiences with this office staff -- when i really needed the most support and needed to see the doctor as soon as possible. I needed to see the doctor urgently, the staff changed my appointment without my agreement, 3 times and when i complained, the office manager, pushed offered an appointment for a month later, while knowing that i had an urgent need to see the doctor. Very cruel!
