Very bad customer service, staff doesn't know what they're doing, you call their office and they keep you on hold forever. This office definitely needs new staff immediately.

This doctor makes way more appointments than he has capacity for. On a handful of occasions, my grandmother (who has Parkinson's and cannot walk) has had to wait more than 5 hours in the waiting room even though she arrived 15 min BEFORE her appointment. Several times, my grandmother has had to wait weeks for the doctor to send over appropriate paper work to the pharmacy to receive her medications, pampers, in home nurse visits and in home therapy visits. The people who answer the phone are rude and apathetic. This has been going on for years. Take your loved ones to someone who cares.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Hernandez for years. She and other patients always complain about how ridiculous the wait is....and the sad thing is that they think that they don't have any other option. My mom has waited to see Dr. Hernandez for up to four hours which is ridiculous and unacceptable! This doctor may be nice, but he is actually taking advantage of elderly, mostly nonenglish speaking patients that can't really post their own reviews. It's frustrating to see that he over schedules patients and collects as many payments that he can in one day. Don't waste your WHOLE day only to hear your blood results in less than 10 minutes, AND him telling you that you look much younger than the last visit. I'm sure you can find a good doctor that will actually value your time somewhere else in Pharr.

DR. MAX IS THE BEST DOCTOR EVER. HE CARES HE IS PROFFESIONAL. IVE BEEN SEEING HIM FOR YEARS AND HIS STAFF IS EXCELLENT TOP OF THE LINE CRYSTAL AND DINA ARE IRREPLACEABLE. THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME KEEP ON TRACK. YOUR THE BEST EVER.

I can honestly say they are the BEST Doctors. Dr Hernandez is my doctor. And Dr. Mercado is my fathers. They always put their patients first. And so caring and Godly Men. And they have the best Nurses ALL of them are very knowledgeable and always on toes. I Highly recommend them. If you want Wise and Caring Doctor They are the Best. May continue blessing with Strength and Knowledge to continue doing what they love.
