Cardiology and Transplant Associates

Tried to refer a patient from a provider's office. The person Alma who answered the phone was wonderful. The insurance person on the other hand was a piece of work and unfortunately contributed to a delay in the care of the patient. To make matter's worse, Dr. Butkevich seemed like he could care less. I don't understand how you are supposed to help people but yet visibly show that you could care less about patient's. I will never visit or refer anyone to this office to have to deal with this type of treatment from a medical office.

Physician seemed nice enough during initial consultation. Had a test done and was told physician would call with results, which never happened. Thankfully, I am a provider that was able to see my own images and couldnt see anything to be concerned about. But, what if I wasnt or what if I missed something because cardiology is not my specialty? My bills came five months later and they attempted to overcharge me by more than $40. I had to go to their office to show them all my receipts and statements. The billing lady was quite condescending, but that was not the worst part. When they realized an error was indeed made on their part, it was because they keyed in my payments incorrectly and it turns out the office staff person had always been doing it incorrectly. No telling how many people they have overcharged. To sum it up, they quoted me the correct amount I owed, which I paid promptly and left. Not one person, the billing person or the office staff person apologized or said "I'm sorry" even though it was clearly their mistake that I had to force them to see because resisted listening to me in the first place.
