I went to the ER in Pampa for extreme neck and arm pain. The woman at the front desk was nice, but when the lady came to take me back, she was rude from the moment she called my name. She treated me like I was an inconvenience. The nurse then came into the room, and she was civil at best. I had to say "good morning" to everyone first, except for the lady that came for my x-rays. She was also very nice. The Dr was nice, but he only spent 5 minutes with me. I had to ask him to look at my neck. Shouldn't that have been the first thing to do? Bottom line, I give them 2 's, and the 2nd star is only because of the 2 that were polite.

Emergency room visit. Dr Pagosa and a trainer saw me today. Doctor made sure I understood what he said and was very patient. Nurses were great! Had to have Ct Scan and lab work. No complaints at all. Very professional, patient and kind. Thank you all for your care!

We have only good things to say about our stay at PRMC. The E.R. staff was prompt and efficient, worked in a timely manner. Once admitted, our nurses were phenomenal! In a place no one wants to be, we were quickly settled in comfortably. Everyone made us aware of each med,and its function. If we had to call for anything, the nurses always came in promptly and ready to listen. Overall,it was a good experience in a not so great circumstance.

The nurses and doctors took very well care for me. I have no complaints except for the different thought processes of the discharging doctors. I was told that one doctor would be discharging me, and she likes to come in early, and if the patient was ready, they would get discharged. We'll, I was told a different doctor was there, and he likes to wait until later in the evening to discharge patients. With pharmacies closing early, I couldn't wait. Needless to say, I got discharged rather quickly after bringing up that issue.

Absolutely awful experience. They refused to allow my wife in the back with me and my son. They discharged without properly evaluating my 7 month old son who had hit his head and went limp in my arms. No CT was done no real evaluation he was just discharged and told if anything happened to bring him back. When I called to complain I was informed they don't even do pediatric scans but even paramedics stated he needed scans done. Honestly I recommend anyone that can make the drive to Amarillo to just make it for kids since apparently this place can't seem to take things seriously.
