Dr. Oviedo performed an emergency surgery on my wife on the Fourth of July. He did an amazing job. After the surgery he came by and talked with us when he said he would. He explained everything and allowed us to ask questions. Great bedside manners. I highly recommend him.
He achieved the impossible. He did a surgery for me, a very complex patient, that most surgeons wouldn't have the skills for (Colorectal surgery) and gave me back my quality of life. His surgical abilities and precision are beyond expectation and his bedside manner and care for his patients make him such a valuable physician to my care team. I admire that he also takes time to teach students and let them learn/ask questions so we can have future generations of amazing surgeons. I have only positive things to say about him and his team. He is way more than a bariatric surgeon. I'll be seeing him for any future general surgery needs as well.
Dr. Oviedo was my surgeon for my emergency gallbladder surgery. He took very good care of me in the hospital and made sure I had everything I needed and even stopped by to check on me after recovery. He was very thorough and explained everything at my follow-up appointment. Had the pathology report and pictures to show me of my surgery when he walked through the door. Very professional and caring. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone. 5+ stars
