Iftikhar Faizan MD

My mother-in-law moved from South Carolina to our home here in Texas 8 years ago and had a scare with her heart immediately the ambulance brought her to McKinney Hospital and Dr Iftikar was on the floor. He was so thorough and couldn't find anything but we followed up with a visit to his office! A month later he discovered she needed a stent he urgently squeezed us in and it saved her life! Then a few years later ,She was having chest pains and he was so thorough and discovered what would help and it did! Another miracle! I decided to bring in my daughter. She was seen by many different , specialist including many heart ones with no answers. Most emergency rooms assumed she was a drug addict!(NO!) She was passing out everywhere and it was causing injury's and concussions. I paid payments out-of-pocket because he didn't take her insurance. After testing he discovered it was her vagus nerve and told her what can help and how to prevent the passing out. That was five years ago and she's only passed out twice since then and it hasn't brought her to the Emergency room once! Dr Iftikar is experienced, thorough and listens well! He doesn't take chances! He's our miracle doctor! So grateful for him! Excellent Doctor!

Dr. Iftkhar Faizan is a wonderful and very smart and kind doctor. He is both my wife and my cardiologist. The first thing I can say is that he listens when we talk and we can tell he cares. His staff is also very friendly and smart and I have asked them probing questions to gouge their own personal thoughts about Dr. Iftikhar Faizan who I prefer to call Dr. Iftikhar. They always speak about him as someone they consult first and foremost for his opinion about issues with their own family members. They have all worked there many years and so he doesn't go through changes like other doctors do - they are loyal to him and that speaks volumes, IMO. If you read his experience and detailed background you will see he is a very smart man. Thank you Dr. and we love you and your staff.

So far, so good. I switched from Jodie Hurwitz at the North Texas Heart Center simply because every visit to her necessitated blocking out 5 hours of my day. Dr. Iftikhar is just 20 minutes from me and appears well rated on various other health professional rating services. My first visit seems to be as expected. Dr. Iftikhar performed an EKG, found a questionable item for further review and showed it to me. He explained clearly his concerns and I received an ECG shortly after. We'll see how it goes.

I was referred to Dr. Iftikhar for an EKG. I set an appointment for an EKG. I was told by his office to wear loose clothes for the EKG. I came to the appointment ready for an EKG. At the appointment I was told I was there to set the next appointment. It was a totally pointless appointment. Nothing happened at my appointment, no examination, no tests, nothing. Just filling out paperwork and paying them $135 for no reason. Hours later, I still don't know why I had to go in to the office. There was no part that couldn't have been done online, without the inconvenience of an office appointment.

I have had nothing but excellent experiences with this doctor , he is my 3rd cardiologist and by far the best . The staff has always been helpful and accommodating . His approach has been very professional and never trying to push me into a bunch of unnecessary testing like the other two cardiologist. I have recommended my wife and employees to him with same results .
