Amanda Deavillez, APRN does not review patient's records before visits. She did not know I cancelled my other test and all I wanted was to get my lab results and leave. I waited a few minutes in the lobby and an hour in the room waiting for Amanda to come in room. No one came to check on me. I heard talking outside of the room I was in and I opened the door and it was Amanda and the EKG tech looking at me like they saw a ghost. I asked, "I'm I going to be seen now"? Amanda stared and said nothing. The tech said, "you are next". I wasn't next. Front desk girl came and asked me if I wore a heart monitor. Finally Amanda came in and did not apologize and stated that she couldn't find my test results. When I told her I didn't do them she asked, "the clerk didn't schedule you". I said I cancelled them. Amanda asked why. I said I didn't get my lab results in my portal. I called several times asking why my labs weren't in the portal. The clerk said they will put them in my portal. Than the front desk said that the lab results will not be put in, because it is policy that I have to come back in and go over with Amanda. My other test result was put in my portal but the lab results could not be put in my portal?THIS IS INSANE! I already had a follow-up appointment scheduled, but she still could have put my labs in the portal like her did the other test results, INSANE. Amanda said she was going to have the front desk schedule me with Dr Yoo, because Amanda is a screw-up and she knew I wasn't pleased. On my initial call, I asked to see Dr Yoo, because he placed my late mother's pacemaker. I was told that I had to see Amanda first then I could see Dr Yoo, that this was office policy. INSANE! this office is making it where you have multiple unnecessary appointments to make money instead of caring for the patients. The heart is a life saving organ and they are playing with our lives. God sees it all.

Kind of shocked after reading about positive experiences of patients with suspected POTs. My referral was for the same and a year later, no TILT test, no confirmation just...it's all treated the same. It's not. And getting my refills...I just left my primary to get some of them bc this office won't answer multiple attempts from the pharmacy. My last appointment over the phone never happened. Just got a call at 9:30 pm that he got pulled into a case. Complete waste of another year trying to get help. Good luck getting care here! Looks to be hit or miss! Hands down don't recommend

Needed Ablation. Office was great about getting me in soon and getting my out of town records. Everyone in office was great. They set me up very quickly when someone cancelled. TEXAS Presby was excellent also. Communication and check in was seamless. Dr Yoo did a thorough quick ablation with TEE before and Loop Monitor insertion all in one surgery under general. Overnite observation which offered good post procedure care. One week out, I'm doing very well.

I was referred to Dr. Yoo by my rheumatologist to be assessed for what they thought was POTS. Dr. Yoo's advanced knowledge and assessment skills helped to diagnose a life-threatening genetic heart arrhythmia. This diagnosis led to most of my immediate family being tested for the same genetic mutation, effectively saving my family's and my life. Both my sister and I are under the care of Dr. Yoo and his staff, Mary Susan and Autumn, and they have been nothing but attentive and communicative. Dr. Yoo even went out of his way to consult on my sister's care even though she lives out of state. My family feels very safe with our hearts being in their hands.

I have been a patient here for almost a year. Recently, I had an appointment with Lori Thompson. 45 minutes after my scheduled time I still hadn't seen anyone in the exam room. No assistive personnel or providers. I left and politely asked for a refund. I was told I would get one in a few days. Five days later, I still hadn't been refunded, so I called the office. They assured me that the person who handled billing was out of the office, but I would be refunded. It's now been 2 weeks and I still haven't been refunded. Half the time when I call during the posted hours, I get an after hours automated line. There is absolutely no intent to help.
