I would also agree with all the bad reviews. Dr Almeida is very dismissive and rude, he spends all his time just speaking on the microphone and barely even acknowledges his patients. I have waited up to 4 hours to be seen. He has told me that I need to stop wasting time on going to hospital whenever I have a problem with my heart.
Worse service ever. Especially the clerk karen k. Jumps people and registers whoever she wants. Been waiting in line for 15 min and a lady came after me about 20 minutes later and she register first. When I told her just smile and didn't care. Mcallen medical heart doctors office are better. Never again will I come here. A bit fat zero. Been waiting for 45 minutes for Dr to see me
This doctor, or one the associates, does not pay attention to the patients. He only hears what he wants to hear. He spends the time dictating to his microphone, not to say that he was telling his views based in reading the folder from another patient. It also happened when trying to defend themselves from not responding timely on an insurance issue. Nonetheless, he accused me of "not stepping up to the plate" regarding my mother's care.
Dr Almeida is a fantastic doctor. He is very competent, thorough and takes him time with your issues. Only negative is- expect to wait 2 to 4 hours for your appointment!
Dr. Hilary is very patient. I did not have to wait very long. He explained all my reports. He welcomed my questions in a respectful manner. Very satisfied.
