I have had excellent experiences under the care of Doctor John Canales. Has done A fantastic job as my doctor. It has been a very exciting experience as his patient. He is a very positive and excellent professional in his handling of my care.

Dr. Canales is exceptionally patient and attentive. He takes the time to truly listen and ensures you feel heard and understood. His approach is thoughtful and thorough, and he always provides a clear, comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your needs. I trust him completely and have confidently referred both family and friends to him.

Reception was nice and friendly,unlike the Schertz location. Then this office is much larger. Dr. Canals saw .me quick and I was out within an hour. Scheren said be tz office said to be prepared to stay 3 hours. I ask why . She said, "in the waiting room, in the room and hour with Dr. Canals". I said Dr. Canals has never spent an hour with me, that's a lie. She was not nice. I give the Schertz a three. Thank you Judson office for making my visit nice.

It starts with the lady at the front desk. The nurse explains everything they will be doing. Dr Canales truly cares about his patients. You are in good hands with him. You end up with all the ladies checking you out. Thank you Dr Canales for you and your staff taking care of. me..I am truly blessed.

The nurse was absolutely wonderful--kind, attentive, and reassuring. She made me feel like I might finally get answers. Unfortunately, my experience with the provider was very different. I felt rushed and dismissed. I was told that because of my age, my concerns weren't significant unless I were elderly, and that my cardiovascular issues were more likely tied to mental health. Important aspects of my care were overlooked: my PCP's lab results pointing to cardiovascular issues were not reviewed, nor was my family history. These are critical factors that should have been part of the discussion. I left the appointment feeling unheard and frustrated. As someone who has already delayed care in the past due to providers dismissing my concerns, this experience was discouraging. If specialists aren't going to review labs, family history, or take symptoms seriously, it makes it difficult to trust the process of seeking care.
