I visited this clinic over the weekend during their after-hours service. Since I have no insurance and am a self-pay patient, I prefer to go to places recommended by family and friends to ensure I get my money's worth. The doctor and nurse I encountered were very kind, but there was minimal communication from the doctor. I arrived with throat pain that had started on Wednesday evening and explained to them what I was currently taking, which provided temporary relief, but once it wore off, the pain returned. The doctor didn't provide much explanation regarding the cause of my throat pain, nor did they suggest any remedies or treatments to alleviate it; they simply mentioned that a swab would be taken. The nurse swabbed my throat, but she struggled because, as she noted, it was "swollen and red." After she swabbed me, I asked her what to do if the results came back negative and whether I should continue with my current medication, to which she replied yes. It felt like I had to figure out the next steps on my own. As a self-pay patient, I feel that this visit did not justify the expense. Initially, I had intended to go to a different clinic where I had previously felt more acknowledged and where the doctor explained things in detail. However, since a family member recommended this place, I decided to give it a try. I am truly disappointed that it seemed like a waste of money. I did not receive any prescription for my swollen throat.

This ER Dr was thorough considerate and professional I am glad I made the appointment I always have the best treatment at ARC I went to the Slaughter location and I have never had a bad experience with them. They always try to accommodate me. They always try to get me in and they listen to what I say. Answer my questions. Try to help me and get me referrals and seem to be very concerned about my health. I just wish they had some female geriatric doctors, which they don't seem to have in the whole system which seems kind of crazy there's like maybe one in Pflugerville for all of ARC. That is something definitely that needs to be addressed as there's a lot of older people and there's a lot of women so I'm hoping that ARC will expand their doctors to include more female geriatric caregivers

Dr. Moore was exceptional. She replaced my previous doctor. She went through all my medications and my conditions (degenerative). She found areas that had not been addressed and some medications where the dosage would not be helpful as it was still too low after years on it. She suggested programs and resources. I left feeling that despite not having cures, at least I would feel better. I felt hope for the first time! I highly recommend her, she is professional and actually cares! I never felt rushed.

Finding a new PCP can be a struggle, especially after seeing a wonderful Dr. for 14+ years only to find out that he is moving out of state. I am so happy that, after seeing a few other PCP's I finally found the perfect fit for me. NP Tiffany Dixson at Kyle ARC is wonderful in everyway possible. I'm looking forward to seeing someone I feel comfortable with again.

I'm extremely disappointed with the care my child received at Austin Regional Clinic. After more than four visits, we were given the same advice every time--change formula, switch detergents, try different creams--yet no one ever ordered basic tests like blood work or a stool test, even when we specifically requested them.
On top of that, we paid four copays with absolutely no improvement or added value. It felt like our concerns were brushed off, and the lack of follow-through made it seem as if thorough testing was being avoided for reasons I still don't understand. As a parent, it's heartbreaking to watch your child stay uncomfortable while feeling like you're stuck in a cycle of repeat visits with no real medical investigation.
This experience has left me feeling like my time, money, and trust were completely wasted.
