Dr. Saima Zafar is an excellent cardiologist and a relaxed, easy doctor to talk to. I have complete faith in her and would highly recommend her to anyone who's in need of cardiac care. I came to Dr. Zafar because I promised my mom before she died that I would have my heart checked...so, 7 years later I did just that. Turns out it saved my life! Dr. Zafar immediately saw some abnormalities in my numbers and ordered a battery of tests to confirm her suspicions, and learned that I was 95% blocked in my main artery! Getting me to surgery was no easy task, and Dr. Zafar went to battle with my insurance company; even with their infinite wisdom, Dr. Zafar was able to get my procedure approved and saved my life! In the very short time I've been coming to Dr. Zafar, I've lost nearly 20 lbs and have extended my life in order for me to make healthier decisions. Dr. Zafar is wonderfully thorough and compassionate, taking time to actually talk to her patients rather than at them. She easily put me at ease and bypasses my usual anxiety response to new situations. The staff is just as compassionate, friendly and upbeat as Dr. Zafar, always greeting you with smiles. 10/10 I definitely recommend!
I can't even express the kindness and positivity this office exudes! The Dr and staff are always helpful and listen to anything you need to speak about. They were able to see me same day, which was a blessing since the trouble I was experiencing had been overlooked by more than one Dr in the past.
