Worse experience I ever had with dr.desikan didn't ask my medical history or my symptoms I could barely walk on my own because of my med but called on Tuesday n was dizzy n near syncope n short of breathe after my visit n coughing n he didn't look at my event monitor or nothing just took my 330 and told him my heart was restarted 10 x n the past and he dismissed me like ok well EKG and echo are normal but no follow up and I had 14 blood transfusions what the heck is wrong with finding a Dr who will listen to me. ?

He explains complex medical conditions in language that is easy to understand, enabling patients to knowledgeably participate in analyzing alternatives and risk-reward tradeoffs that are appropriate for patient conditions and goals. He and his team are a model for other medical professionals, and frankly any business, to follow.

An echocardiogram and a wait totaling over an hour, we got to visit with Dr. Suneja. He is knowledgeable and kind. The team as a whole is well mannered and knowledgeable. At the end of the appt, headed to pay our bill for the visit... the staff explained and helped us to set up the next heart test appt which was scheduled several weeks from this initial visit. On this note, we enquired if they had a cancellation waiting list. They said no but encouraged us to call back daily to see if anyone called to cancel so we could take the spot. The following week, tried almost daily the automated phone message takes you to the options and no one ever returns your call. Following that, the phone calls did not do to the usual automated messages anymore. My husband's first visit to this clinic is filled with concern and doubt as to whether this cardiology practice can care for my husband's needs ... for prescription refills, medical/billing questions, appointment rescheduling concerns ... in spite of how busy and caring they appear .. it leaves a lot of questions as to whether the clinic and staff are equipped to handle the volume of patients they appear to have. The no call back/ voicemail/ lack of follow-up leaves a lot of questions if this is how matters are from our first visit. Are we in the best place for care of his cardiology needs? Either have someone assigned to connect with callers efficiently/ remove the cancellation waiting list to your clients because it's exhausting and shows a lack of genuine care and professionalism. And if this practice doesn't desire to encounter frustration and raise a positive caring approach, form a better action plan and execute it!!
