I have been trying to get my Pet Scan completed with Dr Pai for almost 2 months. I went for my initial appt, paid fee. Then they scheduled my scan for two weeks out. I asked then if I had any additional fees for scan, this office said they will let me know. They waited until morning of scan to tell me my fee was $300. I wasn't prepared to pay that because they didn't give me advance notice. I called my insurance, gave them codes, my insurance said the total Pet Scan should not cost me more than $225 out of pocket. I have tried 3 times to get this appt with Dr R Pai out the way. I have talked to 3 different people from Dr. Pai's office each person tells me a diffetent amount. Today I was told they never know how much before test, they give a fee, sometimes it's less than total and sometimes it's more than total and I may get an additional bill after paying fee they quote me. This has been one of the most incompetent staff I've had to deal with. No one here wants to do there job and confirm code prices in advance. Very poor client service. Don't waste your time, find another doctor.

I have used Dr Pai for over 15 years and love him as a Dr. I have many friends from my church who use Dr Pai as well and are very happy with him. He saved my life after I was struck my lightening, damaging my heart. #forevergrateful

My husband saw this dr for chest pain. After multiple office visits, being placed on bp meds & enduring several tests he basically told my husband to go home & return in 2 months for a follow up. This dr failed to call with test results. It shouldn't take over a week to get results on tests performed in his office. Tests to help identify the cause of symptoms. Yet we had to repeatedly call after every test to find out what needs to be done. His staff is nice but even they were surprised nitro was never prescribed. Needless to say when Dr Pai dismissed his pain & symptoms of pain that radiated across his chest and up his neck to his left ear. We sought a 2nd opinion & 1 week later my husband was in the cath lab- 3 blockages, all 90-95% blocked. He could have had a full blown heart attack. I would not refer anyone to this dr. To ignore a patients pain & treat them as though they are imagining their symptoms is exactly the opposite of "Do No Harm". I appreciate his nurse's concerns but even more grateful for the new dr listening & saving my husband from a potential heart attack. Listen to your body, know when something isn't right. Seek 2nd opinions. It can save your life.

Dr Pai is such a caring dr. He answered all my questions took his time with me explained everything. You can tell he cares about you that you're not just a number .I would highly recommend Dr Pai .he was great !! 9/5/2024
