Terrible Customer Service: I have no doubt the doctors at this facility are talented folks. I always found Doctor Odhav and his PA pretty stellar folks. However, leadership starts at the top in any endeavor and there isn't any leadership at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates. It's more like a keeping a pipeline full. My mother is an 80 year old young lady who is wheelchair bound. It takes a lot get her out to for doctor appointments. She is on portable oxygen as well. Today on 6-26-2024 we arrived early for our 11:15 appointment. 20 minutes after our scheduled time to see Dr. Odhav. I went up and asked what the delay might be. The standard canned response is that Dr. Odhav has a lot of patients. Really? That's not my problem. We have a scheduled time to see the Doctor which is 11:15. It is now 11:35. My mother said she would wait until noon. That is exactly she did. We left without seeing Dr. Odhav and she requested all her medical records from Memorial Katy Cardiology. At the end of the day an 80 year old woman who is not in the best of health should not have to sit around for an hour waiting to see a doctor....I can see 10-15 minutes but an hour? Totally, unacceptable. We had this appointment scheduled for over a month!!! Good grief....stop double booking or doing whatever puts you guys so far behind. It is totally unacceptable. Not just because she's my mom....for anyone. Their front end people must not be getting paid enough, because I found them a little rude and intolerant to her needs. We even received an eyeroll. I should have written names down. There was only ONE person behind that desk that offered my mother oxygen as we were heading out the door ...to that person, God Bless you....thank you ma'am! We had a little battery left on the portable oxygen machine and my mom wanted to leave at that point. My mother understands that there are other patients that need to be seen, but your scheduling issues should not be your patients problem. The last time we were there it took almost two hours to see the Doctor.
