Dr. Berman is great, but his staff sucks! The Gessner office is worse than the Katy office, but it sucks too. They don't return phone calls, they are rude when you do get to talk to them, and the phone serviceWILL NOT put you through to him under any circumstances unless you are dying!
I agree with the person who indicated that Dr. Berman is a good doctor, however that it is very difficult dealing with his office staff. I have been trying for over a week to get a prescription refill called into a pharmacy, but still haven't gotten a response after leaving numerous messages, even with the office manager. Unfortunately, it's the office staff that you deal with regularly, not Dr. Berman himself.
Dr Berman is wonderful, but his office runs extremely slowly and inefficiently. If you call, you will hold forever. If you speak to someone that says they are going to forward your test results via email as soon as you hang up, they don't. I have been trying to get test results sent for weeks now. Ridiculous.
Dr Berman is a very thorough doctor. He didn't let anything slip through the cracks. He stopped in to see me at the hospital when it was his day off. He made sure that everything that needed to be done was done. Amazing Doctor!
Has kept my husband alive for 2 yrs. He has also treated me for heart angina. Had to have a stunt. He also kept my sister in law alive for 25 yrs.
