Dr. Basanti R. Vrushab, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Vrushab. I have never felt rushed and she is very thorough. Everyone at this office is always very kind and professional. I have referred her to many people and they are always so thankful. I love the peace I have knowing that I am completely comfortable and satisfied with the care I receive.

I tried to schedule a appointment with Dr. Basanti because I was not feeling well. The receptionist who I talked to was very rude and patronizing. I had to hear how I would have to wait until Friday and it was only Tuesday.The receptionist went on to spew how she doesn't deal with market place insurance although she is my primary care and I have seen her before. They are horrible and made me feel less then a human. I will need a new Dr because I will never use this Dr again. Zero stars!

If I could give a zero for Dr. Basanti Vrushab's staff, I would. I haven't had the opportunity to meet the doctor. The 1star rating is for her front desk staff Felicia T. She refused to give me her last name and promptly went to put Stacy Reeves, Office Manager, on the phone. (Stacy "proudly" gave me her name.) Unfortunately, Felicia and Stacy were rude and inconsiderate when I requested an appointment with Dr. Vrushab. I was told the doctor wasn't accepting new patients. However, I told Felicia and Stacy I selected Dr. Vrushab as my PCP last year, but didn't need to see the doctor, so this would be my first visit to her office. Felicia kept telling me no new patients were being accepted even after I told her my insurance provider's website stated Dr. Vrushab was accepting new patients. As I pressed for further details and provided my information to Felicia, she begrudgingly looked up my info and curtly told me, "I don't see you in the system." When I asked her full name so I could report her to my insurance provider and let them know Dr. Vrushab's "accepting new patients" status is incorrect, Felicia put me on hold. I guess Felicia was hoping I would hang up. When Stacy, the office manager came to the phone she was rude as well when I told her I was a patient of Dr. Vrushab's. She showed no sympathy when I told her I wasn't feeling well and expected her to demonstrate professional courtesy. Then, she had the nerve to try and chide me with, "Did you call our office to check to see if we were accepting new patients?" My advice to prospective patients: 1) Stay away from this office if you're looking to be treated with respect and professional courtesy. When I called my insurance provider, they stated that doctors often do not afford them courtesy to call and update their "accepting new patient" status. My advice to Dr. Vrushab: 2) Dr. Vrushab, get rid of your rude staff, hire courteous professionals and have them update your "accepting new patients" status with every insurance provider you're associated with. My advice to Felicia and Stacy (if this is your real names): 3) Please take customer service training until you pass the course with a 100% and then practice the training on a daily basis to everyone.

We Have been seeing Dr. Vrushab since Dr. Bull retired. She is easy to talk to and has taken good care of us for many years. The office staff is busy because she is a great doc and has a busy practice. If you need a specialist, her referrals have always been excellent as well.

I have a great personal but professional relationship with Dr. Basanti. Simply put I'm really just a patient. She's been with me since Dr. Bull retired and She has helped me several times. I am allergic or very sensitive to antibiotics and other medications and I am fighting getting older as well. She cares about her patients. She listens. She is very smart. I trust her with my life.
