Dr. Shawn Mathur

Dr. Mathur is an exceptional physician in his expertise and bedside manner in caring for my father. The care and sincere concern in putting his patients' needs first is obvious. We cannot thank him enough!

This the absolute worst office ever. Two messages unreturned. Ive called the office 12 times and listen to that damn hold music for 10 mins and hang up. I have severe bad score on blood test and no one called about and NO WAY TO GET AHOLD OF THEM. try yourself. Im gone beyond belief. Nice guy but the operations of this outfit is beyond belief

On March 7th of this year I took my husband to his 3 month follow up with Dr Shawn Mathur and the visit was a terrible experience for me and my husband. My husband had a Cystoscopy procedure. Before my husband had the procedure he asked the nurse when they insert the camera into his penis, will it hurt, she stated "no it won't hurt you will only feel pressure ". My husband said okay. Dr. Shawn Mathur stated the same as the nurse. Dr. Shawn Mathur started with the procedure and soon as he inserted the camera into my husband penis, my husband showed pain, so Dr Mathur pulled back to readjust the second time and my husband again showed and expressed pain, so Dr Mathur pulled back to readjust a third time and then Dr Mathur used more force and then my husband screamed with extreme pain and then his penis began bleeding really bad which he went through multiple of towels. Now my husband is in extreme pain and discomfort and his really hard for him to urine, and he is walking around in pain. This Dr. didn't show any compassion for my husband when he noticed him in pain the first two times. I highly suggest y'all go to someone else for this type of treatment or procedure.

Dr. Mathur is as good as it gets when it comes to vasectomies in my opinion. I was certain of my choice during the preliminary visit, and he didn't question me or try to talk me out of it. He was comforting and just let me know of the involved risks and what to expect. The procedure took about 10 minutes of prep work by the nurse, and about 20 minutes for the actual procedure. As the operation took place, Dr. Mathur and I casually chatted about work, new things around Houston, and his experience in medical school. It was painless and it felt more like drinking a beer and chatting with a buddy versus a medical operation. The aftercare went smooth as well, I called him 2 days after for the pain I was dealing with and he immediately sent over a better medicine to help me get through the aches after a vasectomy. I couldn't hand-pick a better experience. Dr. Mathur turned a scary event into a smooth and comfortable experience.

Dr. Shawn Mathur is exceptional! His bedside manner is perfect and he takes all the time that is needed for a thorough exam. Made me feel 100% comfortable and confident in his competence that he knows what he's doing. Will absolutely use him and his office for all needed procedures in the future. Instilled confidence and was very patient. Cannot ask for more. A lot of doctors in this world could take notes on how to do a better job from the man. Very thankful to have found him.
