I was referred to Dr. Tiu by my Primary Care Physician for a nagging cough approaching 4 weeks. Bronchitis was suspected and antibiotics with steroids had not resolved the symptoms. From the time I entered and checked in, to the nursing staff, and finally Dr. Tiu, I was treated professionally and with respect. I did not have to wait long, and Dr. Tiu thoroughly explained what was happening based on all of the X-rays, labs and symptoms. An asthmatic event triggered by a minor virus and not taking the steroids for a long enough period. No bronchitis and he prescribed a new steroid for me. I am already feeling better, and my recovery is obvious. The staff called my prescription into my pharmacy so I would not have to present a written prescription and wait an additional 30+ minutes to pick it up. A great experience! To Dr. Tiu and his amazing Staff, keep up the good work!!!

I have been trying for nearly a month to get the Dr office to send one final document to the medical supply place. They claim they sent it and medical supply place said they received everything except the one document that is suppose to be signed by the doctor. I have spoke with the office several times and one lady got a bit snappy with me and they keep saying they are going to send it, but still failed to do it.

No stars if I could.Horrible incompetent office staff. They are in the business to rip people off. Returned sleep study machine and staff said it was supposed to be return on Friday. No where on my document that I signed, Said a date or time. And the staff said they were going to charge me 10.00/hr for every hour the machine was not turned in. Very rude and disrespectful staff member, not very helpful or understanding at all. If I would have known a date and time. I would have returned it on time. Just a horrible experience for me.

Dr. Tiu seems like a very nice man but his office staff are the most incapable set of human beings. They are rude and do not follow through with anything they say without 2-3 phone calls. Further, there are no digital tools to follow your care and you complete forms on a dry erase sheet (that was a first) which demonstrates they have no desire to invest in their practice. Lastly, I called with a simple question that my insurance told me to ask and the only way they would relay to the doctor was if I schedule an appointment (and paid their precious co-pay). They held me hostage. I quickly asked my PCP for a new referral and I highly recommend any other Pulmonologist in the area.
