Bayou City ER & Hospital

Reception woman was very friendly. Nurse and doctors were very friendly. Facility was clean!!! Was treated very well. They were as prompt as can be. Very thorough It was 77 degrees in the waiting room. Felt like 82. Wearing a mask makes you feel hotter. Parking lot is a little dark. Please get lights. Other than that... no complaints of staff or service. Very pleased.

I am here on vacation and happened to need emergency care. I chose this facility because of the great reviews I had read online. I was kindly greeted and assisted by the front desk staff. The doctor and his staff were very professional and made me feel very comfortable. The doctor was so nice to call me at home the next day for a follow up to see how I was feeling. I am so grateful to have experienced such nice and professional staff.

Never have I stayed in a better hospital. The nursing, counseling, and direct care staff were knowledgeable, explanatory, kind, patient, and unhurried. They all exhibited a plethora of professionalism, compassion, and soul. Not to mention the yummiest hospital food, ever! Lol This is a no judgment zone. I highly recommend their detox unit. They gave me my life back. *Outstanding!!*

This place took good care of my brother. I would like to personally thank two of the wonderful staff members upstairs, Candace and Katerra. These two women really have passion about their jobs and actually cares about the patients. They made me feel at ease that my brother was in great care!

Wonderful facility. Everyone is kind and attentive, the ER nurses on staff when I checked in were very kind and attentive. Dr. Hemmert in the ER was very warm, genuine and quick to see me. The real love and care shown by the counseling staff, Dr. Chang and James Scott, is unmatched. Both listened to my troubles, reciprocated my concerns to make sure I was understood, to get me the help and the care I needed. James Scott is one of the most genuine, kind, intelligent and respectful counselors I've ever seen. He is a gem to the industry. James, made me feel heard and safe. I recommend their care for anyone for any of life's struggles, the empathy is REAL. Something that sadly gets lost in the hustle and bustle of the medical industry these days. Dr. Scott and Dr. Chang are both pragmatic, genuine and action driven while still respecting the individual and complexity of their concerns. My time here was healing and comfortable. Thank you very much!
