Office staff are terrible. They never return calls or answer any text messages that they say to use. The Doctor is fine , but the clinic she works out of is one of the worst I've ever seen!

Beware Medicaid Patients! Medical diagnostic fraud. In 2015 I went to see Emma Cid a cardiologist then at Houston Family Physicians at 8968 Kirby Dr Houston TX 77054. She did heart testing.She ordered me a heart monitor device. But it never came. I contacted the company and they never shipped it. But billed Medicaid. She also had an attitude asking me about confidential things like my psychiatric records.

gettting an appointment was easy. Dr. Cid was pleasant, and very helpful. i really disliked my overall service because there was no follow up as promised. I took several tests, and the office never called to tell me my results were ready. i kept calling to find out if they were ready. imagine the anxiety i was feeling about seeing a cardiologist and not knowing the outcome of my tests for over 3 weeks!. when they finally sent the results, it was all medical jargon. i was told the doctor was busy and hadnt had time to give a comprehensive report. that is totally unacceptable! now the office wont even stay on the phone long enough for me to complain. perhaps BBB will sort this out for me

Dr Cid is very nice but very forgetful, 2 month now I wait for a heart monitor, nothing .I called up there 3 time gave my information to the secretary, and twice she said please repeat that ..hear I am talking loud and clear ... I would not recommend her to anyone that has a heart condition. I am looking for another Ccardiology ,..I will give only one star .... the worst dr ever ,

As long as she is associated with Houston Family Physicians, I would have serious doubts about seeing her as a cardiologist.
