After developing preeclampsia during my last pregnancy and subsequently postpartum eclampsia, I needed to be monitored by a cardiologist . The one I was sent to through the Hospital did not seem to be very proactive or even reactive, and I felt like my symptoms were not improving. My father who had an emergency triple bypass years ago recommended his cardiologist who has taken great care of him and his heart health. I went to her and could not have been more pleased. She very quickly was able to regulate my blood pressure and took every necessary step to test all aspects of my heart health and not keep me on unnecessary high doses of medication. She is very professional with great bedside manner is very knowledgeable. She is now caring for me in my current pregnancy to try to stay ahead of any potential complications of preeclampsia and monitoring my heart health. I highly recommend Dr. Shiue.
