I was recently admitted into the ER due to serious heart complications and had to stay in the hospital's cardiac unit for several days. During this time, I had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Luis Eugia, Radiologist/Electrophysiologist. From the very beginning, Dr. Eugia was nothing but professional, patient, and thorough. He explained in detail the type of procedure I needed and reassured me that this was not something done overnight, but rather something that needed careful planning. He scheduled me for the procedure two weeks later and prepared me with clear explanations every step of the way. What stood out the most was how he took his time to ensure I understood everything, he even drew a picture to help me visualize my heart's condition and the procedure that was required. His ability to translate complex medical information into something I could understand gave me knowledge and peace of mind in a very overwhelming and frightening situation.The day of my procedure, which lasted eight hours, the entire staff--from nurses to support team--was absolutely incredible. They were attentive, kind, and compassionate, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout a very difficult experience. I noticed that some reviews online mentioned Dr. Eugia being "rude," but my personal experience could not have been more different. He was professional, caring, and committed to my health. I can honestly say that without his expertise and the support of the outstanding nursing team, I would not have felt as confident or safe during this process. Hands down, I would recommend Dr. Luis Eugia and his team without hesitation. They are truly top of the line, and I am beyond thankful for their care. 10/10 Highly recommended!

He scheduled my 80 year old father for an early morning surgery and decided to take the morning off. He told the nursing staff that there would be a delay that morning. He was not in his office nor on the hospital campus. He bothered himself to show up at 9:30 and unapologetically tell us that the surgery would be pushed to noon. After surgery, while in the hospital, dad started to have blood in his urine. The nurse asked the doctor twice to order a urinalysis, and he refused to do so. He did not round at all while dad was on the floor for 24 hours. We will wait to see how this bloody urine turns out. I would look elsewhere for care. Dr. Eguia simply did the job he was hired to do. He had no interest in patient care whatsoever. Sad.

For a heart doctor, this office is this pits! You would think that when your defibrillator is knocking you out, landing you in the ER, that they would work you in, but no!!!! There is no sense of urgency or empathy. I do not recommend this doctor at all. The office staff is a joke, too. I have lost confidence in this office & sadly, there are not many options in the Valley. Beyond disgusted. Don't waste your time with Dr. Eugia and this office.

Very patient Dr. He takes his time explaining problems and/or the procedures the patient may need. His nurse, Mona is very professional and polite. Not too familiar with the front desk staff to comment. The only downside is the long wait period from appointment time can be more than an hour.
