Unfortunately I wasted 20 years with this dr because I have narcolepsy and was afraid I'd have difficulty finding another provider to prescribe the medicine required. But out of nowhere he decided that he no longer wanted to prescribe it to me and that I should use an alarm clock for my narcolepsy. A 1 minute google search would've made him realize he sounded like an idiot saying that. When I asked him about my other health situations he didn't have anything to say about weight gain or other concerns. Just kept going back to the fact that he wanted to wean me off a medication that allows me to feel almost as awake as a normal person. I jumped through hoops for 20 years so afraid the solution to my condition would be taken away. Lo and behold. Thankfully I have found someone new who listens and understands the difficulties of my incurable condition. If you want someone who will listen to you and take the time to understand what you're experiencing in an effort to help, don't go here! Additionally to add insult to injury he said he wasn't the original prescriber of this medication and that I was on it when I came to him. Well let me just say one thing you don't forget is the moment you are prescribed a medication that is almost an ideal solution for a condition you've struggled with the first 30 years of your life. I remember that day like it was yesterday and I've got the pharmacy records to prove it. Shame on you for all the emotional turmoil anxiety and fear I thought I had to endure to feel normal. Driving to euless once a month to get my script always afraid there would be an issue (and there often was, schedule visit first, blood work, now we need an id, sorry he's not available to write it. )

I only have amazing things to say about Dr Chapman and his staff. I've been coming to his Alliance office for years already and I am more than happy with the care my husband and I receive. Dr Chapman takes the time to listen and address concerns and make sure we understand what is being said. When we have questions or concerns I send messages through portal and Jennifer (his nurse) is always kind and so attentive. I have never had a provider and his staff respond so promptly to messages on the app. Thank you!!
