We brought our children in for what should have been a routine annual physical, something every family expects to be straightforward, covered by insurance, and handled with care. Instead, we were blindsided by excessive and confusing billing practices. The clinic charged a separate "hospital" fee on top of the standard visit cost, turning what should have been a fully covered check-up into an expensive ordeal. This was never disclosed upfront, and we only learned of the charges after receiving a surprisingly large bill in the mail. To make matters worse, our experience with the staff, particularly Nathan and Terry, was beyond disappointing. They were unhelpful, and rather than offering any kind of empathy or assistance, they seemed focused solely on defending the clinic's billing system and avoiding accountability. It felt less like a healthcare visit and more like a money grab. This clinic appears to prioritize maximizing profits over patient care. They will bill for every possible code, and then leave you to sort out the confusion with your insurance. There's little transparency, poor communication, and no willingness to explain or justify the charges in plain terms. Families deserve honesty, professionalism, and compassion, especially when it comes to their children's health. Sadly, we found none of that here.
