Excellent Doctor, staff is friendly and effective. I saw a lot of low scores and felt I needed to voice my experience. Dr Lawal and his staff have treated me or a few years now. I have always been treated in a caring manner. They have listened to my concerns and have addressed them accordingly. I will continue to recommend him to my family and friends. I wish everyone the best in health wherever that may be.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS wait times!!! Out of my 5-6 appointments here thus far all have result in a wait time of no less than 3 hours before being called back to a room. Then an additional 30min after roomed, every time!! One day I had an appointment at 2pm, I waited until it was nearly closing time before asking the front desk if they forgot about me. They said no and I'll have to come back next week. Additionally, Dr. Lookman has such a thick accent made worse by wearing a very thick Covid type mask that I literally could not understand a word he said after 4 time I had him repeat it I gave up and just logged into read the visit notes later online. On the medical aspect, things seem to be fine but the wait is ridiculous. If you come here you'll literally need to schedule half or your entire day just for an appointment that only takes 5 min once you're actually seen.

Meet the new nurse practitioner very Through and detailed All my issues. Felt he actually listened not rushed thru. The Dr came in for 2 seconds Wow! Scheduled at 4 45pm the last appointment figured would be out faster...not!! Left after 6pm dark outside already. Wait times too Long here...the follow up would not be til March for results it's Jan...so Said no will see my primary Dr for results of ultra sound. Not happy til March really....mad

In regards to Dr Lawal: A warning to anyone being assigned to this cardiologist. HE DOES NOT AND WILL NOT READ PAPERWORK FROM OTHER DOCTORS OFFICES. He will recommend procedures be done regardless of what's been done in the past. So if you're not medically inclined to fully understand what has been done to you in the past, take his recommendations with a grain of salt and get a second opinion. Find someone who will take the time to read your medical records and understand what has been done to you medically in the past. Do not let your elderly relatives come to this doctor alone.

I'd like to compliment Vanesa. She is an amazing humble, respectful, always greets me with a smile. I have also seen her talking to patients very polite. Everytime I called she greets by Mrs. Ruelas sets up my appointments. Ask if I have any questions. Dr. Lawal the best Cardiologist in El Paso. Takes time to listen to his patients gives us the patients to express and ask all questions. He's always very punctual. You don't have to wait an hour to be seen. I highly recommend him . Mrs. Ruelas
