The waiting room is the size of a walk-in closet, where they try to squeeze 9-10 people in all who are talking like it's a social club, cracking and snapping gum like they've been raised by cows. The wait is on average an hour to an hour and a half even though you're asked specifically to arrive early. This has to be the worst waiting area I've ever experienced. I had to add to my review after my day at the Center. I was scheduled for a chemically induced stress test as well as an echocardiogram. The team of women there was beyond amazing. I admit I was not in the best mood after having to wait outside to not deal with the claustrophobic feeling of the waiting room. From the start, Lilliana completely brought me at ease and we laughed and shared life's lessons as I had an IV placed. Carrie was excellent as well when doing her portion of the three-step process. The actual stress test was, well, terrible, not because of the care, but because of my reaction to the medication introduced to raise my heart rate. Cari was from what I remember immediately on top of what was going on including bringing the doctor in. I don't remember much until everything was over but one thing I do know, if it wasn't for the care of the team of Liliana, Carrie, and Cari, I'm not sure what the outcome would have been. Their care and constant checking on me afterward will always be appreciated. I was able to go on and have the echocardiogram done by Pearl, hopefully, my experiences of being a former corrections officer that we talked about during the test didn't freak her out too much In closing, the waiting room totally sucks and needs to be expanded, and kindly worded postings should be placed regarding the disregard the patients show by talking so loud and popping/cracking gum almost next to the ear of the person sitting next to them. Not everyone wants to hear that especially when they are preparing for these forms of tests. Once you are inside and in the hands of the medical team, you are being treated as if you're the only one there. They all earned angel wings for all the kindness, empathy, and care they showed.
