This doctor told me I needed a c-section because my daughters' shoulders and abdomen was bigger than normal weighting 6 pounds in my belly. They try to scare moms to get away in doing a c-section.To get more money. Take into account I did all the sonograms and test and my baby was 6 pounds. All the labs she needed came great no health problems from mom our baby no diabetes no high blood pressure ect. I go to deliver my baby she does a c-section just because its easier to do. These doctors just want to do c-sections for the money. My baby was born with no problems ect.

Dr DeSantos and her office have always been extremely helpful and polite. She is very knowledgeable and always answers my questions and concerns. My delivery didn't go as planned but she was right there the whole time and put up with my high anxiety better then most OBs I've had in the past. I can't recommend her enough. She has been amazing through out the whole process and even came to do rounds at hospital on a Saturday to check in.

I was very disappointed when I called to schedule an appointment today with Dr. De Santos and she refused to see me since I had not been to see her since 2021. I understand that most women get seen yearly however, I work constantly and that is not something that is doable for me. You would think that if you had already been a patient of hers before she would allow you to come back as needed. It was very disappointing as I asked Shayla to speak to Dr. De Santos personally and ask if she would mind taking me back since she was not accepting new patients for Gyno at this time and I received a call back from Shayla (who FYI was very nice) and she told me Dr. De Santos said no. This is very disappointing and although I am sure Dr. De Santos is busy I think there should be some type of procedure implemented to where even if I had to wait for months to get an appointment she would still allow that since I have already been to see her plenty of times before. I hope Dr. De Santos reads this and creates a different process in which she can still show her patients that she cares enough to take them back versus telling them to go find another OBGYN.

After conducting the prenatal care to it's entirety, Dr De Santos never showed up to the hospital even after 3 visits. Once the delivery initiated hospital staff stated they reached out to Dr. De Santos on multiple occasions throughout the night, but she still never came, they also expressed that Dr De Santos had no say in the delivery process & undermined her autonomy throughout our stay making it a difficult time. Ultimately a resident conducted the full delivery, it was disheartening to see that after attempting to build up a relationship with the person you hope to deliver the baby, she couldn't have cared less about the well being or state we were experiencing.
