At RGV VVI, we are dedicated to treating peripheral artery disease (PAD) and chronic venous disease. This clinic is led by Pedro Mego, MD, FSCAI, an interventional cardiologist and endovascular specialist. Our main goals are to improve the leg circulation to avoid amputation and allow wounds to heal. The RGV VVI in Edinburg and Weslaco are sister clinics to Mission Vascular & Vein Institute (MVVI). MVVI was established in January 2020 and is well recognized as providing high-quality service in the region.

I had a wonderful experience at this office. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Kayla at the front desk is friendly and helpful, and Paola always greets you with a warm smile. Janeth, the assistant, is fantastic--very understanding and professional. And Mrs. Iryna is absolutely lovely! You can tell they truly care about their patients. Highly recommend!
It's always an an awesome experience at RGV Vascular and Vein! It all begins with Paola at the front desk who ALWAYS has a great attitude and and smile (the first thing I see when I go in)! Next, is when I'm called in by either Josh (who is always awesome, btw), or Tatianna whom is also always smiling and makes you laugh. Vianney, the ultrasound technician made my experience as comfortable as possible! She is very courteous, pleasant and has a knack for great music! And as I save the best for last -- Words cannot Even Fathom; Even describe how great/superb his Nurse practitioner - Iryna Mytykyuk FNP-BC. HIGHLY KNOLEDGEABLE and very caring! She's always ready to answer your questions And has very knowledgeable insights! She is also hilarious!!! All under the great direction of Dr. Pedro MEGO! This place is absolutely an incredible place as they are all very courteous, prompt, and very attentive to the patient!
I had a wonderful experience with the team. Kayla and Paola were very sweet and kind truly compassionate people. Alison took such good care of my mom, and NP Iryna was great and very understanding. Thank you all for your care and support!

If I can put 10 star rating they all would be shining bright. Thank you ( Paola, Kayla, Janeth, Tatiana, Iryna , Josh) ALL staff and Providers , the NP was most gracious and empathetic and most of all her patience with my mom is top tier my mom could not be any more happier with her abundance of energy and knowledge . I can not emphasize enough my families gratitude in helping my mother with medication and caring gestures shown to her every time she walked through the clinic doors or even with a simple phone call. Thank you for making a difference not only in our lives but our communities. Again thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts to all.
