MONEY HUNGRY My dad got a quadruple bi pass surgery over a year ago, lately he's been feeling some symptoms due to his medication prescribed by the doctor here and so he made an appointment. Later he was called by the facility and told that his appointment was cancelled because he need to close his account from the last visit, meaning he needed to pay off whatever bill was left from the last visit which he was already doing but on increments he could financially handle. After he explained that the symptoms he was feeling weren't normal and that he was worried for his health and really wanted an appointment all he was told that if he thinks it's an emergency he needs to go to the ER and they gave him an appointment a month away. My dad was literally refused care because of financial status and could potentially have some serious side effects going on with him due to the medication prescribed by the doctor at this facility yet his appointment was pushed back. THIS FACILITY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS AND ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY

Would highly suggest looking elsewhere for medical care. I called to make an appointment and was told I needed a referral even though my plan states otherwise. I wasted my time and money getting a referral, they then said it wasn't good enough. There are plenty of other providers that won't make you jump through unnecessary hoops just to be seen. They are not patient centered and when I pointed this out, I was told that was "correct". The office staff was rude and unhelpful. Do not recommend!

I have known Dr. Korlakunta for the past 8 years. I have seen her practice in hospital and I admire her dedication and drive towards the patients that she serves. She treats the nurses with upmost respect and discusses plan of care so that her patients receive the best quality health care. I am happy to know her and appreciate her willingness to optimize cardiac health for all her patients.
