I called before scheduling my husband's appointment to make sure they took our insurance. The lady assured me that they do. I said please be very sure because we have had people say that before and they don't. She acted like I was an idiot, raised her voice, and very loudly and slowly repeated that they do. So he gets there, confirms the insurance himself, sees Dr Thotakura who spoke to him like absolute garbage and did nothing, only to find out afterwards that they do not, in fact, take our insurance. So we get a bill for a ridiculous amount of money for a visit where nothing was done. So I call back and asked if she remembered assuring me that they took the insurance, which she did. She said that she would look into getting the bill handled and I thought that was that. But apparently what she meant by "handled" was immediately sending it to collections, which I will not be paying. Then she screwed that up too and added on more charges and sent me a bill for that too. And I laughed and laughed. Please find someone competent enough to handle billing and properly file insurance claims.
