Patient
Dr. Ayad refused to consult with other doctors about a Pradaxa prescription necessary for medical procedures. The blood thinner is very dangerous making the prescribing physician who has the patients medical history the best person to deal with the issues pertaining to this medication. Per his office, he refuses to do this for any patients causing problems for all of us. Other doctors don't feel comfortable dealing with blood thinners. Dr Ayad apparently disagrees with the FDA & manufacturer of pradaxa about the prescribing physician making the decision about getting on and off the medication. I'll be finding a new cardiologist who will do the job per the rest of the medical profession, not one who feels his opinion outweighs everyone else. That's just too scary for me.
