Mohammad Pervaiz, MD

This review is for the staff who schedules appointments for Dr. Pervaiz. After he sent me to the ER last week and instructed me to follow-up "as soon as possible," I called Dr. Pervaiz's office and set an appointment for 10/17 at 10:15am. Today I noticed the appointment was not showing up in my patient portal so I called just to make sure the appointment got put on the books. I was told there was NO appointment booked for me for that day. That's a HUGE fail on their part when it comes to the doctor-patient relationship. If I can't even trust the staff to put an appointment on the books, how can I trust them with my health?

Dr. Pervaiz is very knowledgeable, he is highly recommended, however his administrative staff making appointments I would not give any stars. I had a appointment for a year in advance standing, when I checked in the staff could not find my name or any appointment, I gave them the date and time of the appointment from a year ago, and the one for today I had in my phone, I was told someone canceled the one I had for today. After an extended time with the incompetent staff, and raising my blood pressure due to their inept administration, someone squeezed me in to see the Doctor, his only comment was your blood pressure is HIGH, well I wonder why after dealing with front desk staff. I would fire the whole bunch, they didn't know who canceled my appointment. Not the way to run a practice.
