Clinical Heart and Vascular Center - UT Southwestern

I have nothing but greataude for Doctor Hide and the whole team of people that took care me from start to finish. The staff was awesome .What this team does for people . I had a triple bypass what they call a cabbage and I came out of it pretty well thanks to these guys these doctors Dr Hide and his team I have nothing but gratitude. And I will keep my promise to you guys I will never ever pick up another cigarette.

Dr. Ruth Schneider is a very good doctor. All of my visits with her have been very professional, productive and pleasant. I highly recommend her, her staff and UTSW Clinical Heart and Vascular Center. Dr. Ruth Schneider really cares for her patients and has great bedside manner.

UTSW Cardio team has great INPATIENT doctors but Outpatient is horrible. They could care less. Avoid Dr. Nina Passi. She has a very dry, nonchalant personality. She acts as if she doesn't want to be there or deal with patients. She fail to go the extra mile such as reading the chart prior to entering the room, ordering follow up test etc). Ya know.. things a doctor is supposed to actually do. She should really find a different line of work.

No regrets!!! I'm so glad I chose to go to UTSW vascular clinic. Dr Kirkwood was my surgeon and did an amazing job. Her and all the staff including the PA (Brianne) and the FNP, the Nurse who immediately answered my messages on MyChart, took very good care of me. The techs who did my ultrasounds and the MA's, the ladies checking in were all very attentive to my needs. The young men who do the scheduling are very nice and so respectful. I highly recommend going there, if you ever need a Vascular Dr.

Fantastic heart group. They saved my life for sure! However I have noticed that since they moved to the new building they are less organized and the employees don't seem to be as happy. I hope this improves.
