Dr. Koeckert performed a Triple Heart bypass on my husband on 11/25/24, and he was great. Easy to talk to and takes his time to listen and to answers questions. He even took the time to come to the hospital (Methodist Woodlands) during the Thanksgiving Holiday. My husband is doing great and ready to go home.
So far with my upcoming surgery it's been easy to keep up with everything. My Chart keeps me informed and what is needed to be done. Very organized. So far I'm impressed.
Dr Koeckert recently performed a double Bypass for my husband. I cannot give him enough accolades and gratitude for saving my husband's life. In our opinion Dr Koeckert is a top notch heart surgeon and has a professional and kind bedside manner. We just happened to be in the Woodlands area vacationing with friends when my husband started having chest pains. We feel totally blessed that we were here in the area when all this happened. However, aside from Dr Koeckert's excellent care we cannot say the same for the follow up care my husband received from his clinic. We've been waiting seven days for the anti- anxiety medication my husband needs. The doctor's office faxed the prescription to the pharmacy the day we had our follow up visit. However, because of the class of meds the pharmacy could not fill it unless the prescription was sent in digitally. I called his clinic every day since and was assured it would get sent in digitally. Our follow up appointment was on 6/4/24. Today's date is 6/11/24. The pharmacy still has not received the digital prescription. This is causing a great deal of stress for both of us and I am very disappointed.
Dr.Koeckert literly save my husband's life when he had a bleeding aorta and life flighted to his team Houston Methodist. God is so good!!
