Not that going to a heart specialist is enjoyable, Dr. Rizvi's manner of care helps to ease any anxiety for such a serious topic. He prompts and listens to your response with attentiveness, provides an easy to understand explanation of your diagnosis, and discusses a plan to ensure that your health is of primary concern. Amazing, given that he is so busy, but that makes his care so much appreciated.

This was my first visit. I was very impressed from the start. The doctor was very personable and was not in a hurry to get you out. He answered all my questions. I feel very comfortable with this new doctor. Highly recommend.

I've experienced numerous issues with this doctor's office. They have consistently failed to upload my test results to the MyChart portal, which I believe is a violation of medical record regulations. Despite repeatedly calling and emailing to request my results, I was sent a single, illegible scanned page out of a 19-page report.
Eventually, I was told I'd have to drive an hour and a half to pick up a paper copy--something that feels absurd in this age of digital technology.
Dr. Rizvi ordered two tests after my initial visit. I specifically requested to have them done at the Sugar Land office within the same group, Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Associates, but was told that wasn't possible.
Later, during a follow-up with Dr. Rajesh Venkataraman (Dr. V), I mentioned the inconvenience of traveling back to The Woodlands for the tests. He told me that was "nonsense" and said he would instruct his staff to transfer the orders to the Sugar Land office.
I could go on, but the bottom line is this: the office has shown a clear lack of concern for patient convenience and care.
