Sean Ashrafian, MD

Dr. Ashrafian is an incredible doctor who takes his time with each patient and truly cares. I've been seeing him for over 15+ years and pay out of pocket because I KNOW I'll get the honest, professional care I deserve. 100% recommend him. Such a kind man.

Hard to find doctors these days that are smart, personable and focused on the patient. Most are too busy pushing people out the door. I feel seen and heard by Dr Ashrafian. Once in a while you find a gem!

I've been with Dr. Ashrafian down at the Family Healthcare Associates clinic for a decade or more. My spouse is his patient as well. I truly can't imagine trusting any other with my (sometimes tedious) care needs. I'd call myself a *slightly* high maintenance patient, and Dr. Sean has successfully kept this gal bumping along through all the ups/down that come with age.. But anyway, he will always make effort to be available when needed most, whether that's working me/my spouse in on short notice, responding to my message(s) after hours/on weekends, and even does rotation for their after hours clinic, (which btw is a cherry on top of the default high-level care I'm always given over at FHCA). What I can appreciate most is how our relationship is collaborative. Dr. Sean listens to and respects my concerns, alleviates what concerns he can when possible, always attentive, and often will spare a few to share new medical info that he knows I'll be interested to hear (on the rare occasions he has time to spare). In essence, I champion being your own best advocate with your healthCARE experience. To that point, I have never felt unheard/my concerns are always properly addressed in simple language, and I genuinely feel valued as his patient. To close, I'm confident in saying should you be fortunate enough to find yourself under his care, you'll never be just another chart to Dr. Sean. You will however be seen as a person, and heck dare I say you might even feel like his most important patient ever. PS and I mean every single time. No one desires seeing their doctor, but when the time comes, you will leave his office better than how you arrived.

I recently met Dr. Ashrafian when taking my mother to her appointment. She has raved about him for years but i had never met him. The time, direct attention and care he gave her is something rarely encountered in medicine today. I have worked in the medical field for many years and found his bedside manner sincere, caring and refreshing. Dr Ashrafian spent time explaining to patient and family the assessment of her medical condition and treatment plan. He made sure we understood before allowing us to leave the appointment and made sure all our questions were answered and follow up plans confirmed. The entire staff was professional, friendly and helpful from front desk, lab tech, medical assistant and of course Dr. Ashrafian. This is a great Family Practice Office.

New system of having to leave a voicemail and not being able to talk to the nerse directly is the worst change they made! Leave a vocemail and wait a week to hear back! If you ever hear back!
