Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - College Station

Having lived in various parts of the US, I've experienced a range of medical benefits. My experiences with healthcare systems have varied, but I must say, that Baylor Scott and White has been truly outstanding. The level of care and attention we received was impressive, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We both agree that their services have been exceptional and unlike anything else we have experienced. I had a wonderful experience under the care of Dr. Davis and Dr. Sanders--both provided exceptional service and made me feel well cared for throughout my stay. I was hospitalized for two days and, overall, the staff was attentive and compassionate. Unfortunately, I did encounter one staff member who did not meet the standard of care I expected. However, I am grateful for the rest of the team, whose professionalism and kindness more than made up for that isolated experience.

I went to emergency room on 7/27/25. I had a great experience. From admissions, to the nurses, to the doctor. Everyone was so helpful, knowledgeable and treated me like if I was a member of the family. I was in a room within 10 minutes of registering. Dr. Frost and his team took the time to explain everything to me and put me at ease. Any test that was done was explained to me in great detail before it was done. I can't thank y'all enough for everything. This has by far been the BEST hospital I have been to.

My mother, who has Alzheimer's, had a kidney stent procedure here. Despite being disoriented, vomiting, unable to walk safely, and clearly not at her baseline, she was discharged the same day without dementia-specific discharge planning or support. Within 24 hours she collapsed at home, was found by EMS with dangerously low blood pressure, and had to be admitted to another hospital for suspected sepsis. Families should know: this was an unsafe discharge that put my mother's life at risk. Alzheimer's patients deserve better care and safer planning. Reply: I already have, I look forward to hearing from you. Update: it's been two weeks and no one has reached out at all.... I will keep updating. Update: It has now been three weeks since I posted this review, and still no one from Baylor Scott & White has reached out to me regarding my mother's unsafe discharge. The lack of communication is deeply concerning and only adds to the stress of what our family has endured. Families deserve acknowledgment and accountability when patient safety is put at risk. I will continue to update this review until someone takes responsibility and addresses this matter.

I could never brag on this hospital enough. From the ER registration, labor and delivery, postpartum, room service, food service, I'm sure I'm forgetting more- EVERYONE that we came into contact with was amazing. The staff is so accommodating. Ready to listen and help. I had the best birth experience I have ever received because of the people who work here. Lauren, Chelsie, and Dr. Luedke in labor and delivery are amazing people. Thank you all!
