Cardiology Consultants Pa

While I just met Dr. Prasad Venkat Paturu, he saw to a family member and went above and beyond to take care of what ended up being an emergency. My interactions with him were informative and his care for the family member was exceptional. Thank you, Dr Paturu. I will not soon forget your care and attention to making sure they were taken care of when you could have easily not gone above and beyond, but based upon your actions, I know that is not your character. Thank you.

I am returning to Dr. Paturu just as fast as I can. I moved two hours away from his office a couple of years ago and started searching for a new Cardiologist. My health is now markedly worse. I previously was Dr. Paturu's patient for about eight years. He is the kindest, most caring physician I have ever known. He had my heart issues under control and I trust him completely. I am willing to make the two hour drive to see this amazing man.

Have no respect for patients time. Made an appointment to see the doctor. Showed up and refused to see me because they claimed they canceled the contract with my insurance company. Didn't have the courtesy or respect to let me know before I showed up to the appointment and wasted my whole day. Shame

We have been sitting here for 2 hours now. We came ON TIME for our appointment and NO ONE informed us anyone was running behind til after we asked 30 minutes later. It's now 2 hours and they still can't take us or tell us how much longer til we are seen by the dr. This is unacceptable that the staff has 0 communication to let a patient know how long it will be or take. We have better things to do then sit here for 2 freaking hours! We have jobs and responsibilities and the staff should inform us either with a call or when we walked in that they are going to be running THIS late. 0/10!!!!!!

This review is for Dr. Paturu. He first saw me inn the ER at Los Colinas Hospital. I was ready to walk when a floor nurse suggested she talk to Paturu rather than the cardioligist I had been assigned, (They wanted to admit me becuase the other doc wouldnt see me until the next day). Paturu did a stess test and sent me home. He was clear in his communication and treated me as a person, which you would think would be the standard but sadly is not. He is now my cardiologist and I see him every 90 days. I would comment on his staff with less glowing terms but its also my experience that I'm more concerned with the treatment I get from the doctor than the greeting I get from the staff.
