I had my first appointment with Dr Mehta today. The front desk people were really nice and the facility was clean. I was a little leary because of some of the reviews I read. My visit was even a little better when the nurse/medical assistant took me back with very little waiting. I then met with Holly, the PA who was super patient with me and all of my questions. I was even happier when Dr Mehta showed up in a very brief amount of time to further diagnosis me. I believe they are giving me the best treatment and Dr Mehta assured me "we're good guys" when he knew I was super nervous and silly as it might sound...was so reassuring to me. Thank you to everyone at Fort Worth Heart..I will update if I need to but I think I'm in good hands
My doctor referred me to him and I was willing to give anyone a chance until they prove otherwise. Never explain treatment plan. Found out about procedure through approval letter from insurance. Overall, didn't feel safe..
Ridiculous - if there was a negative rating I would have used it. I am a patient at Dr. Mehta's as well as the heart rehab. My comments are not regarding the expertise or service of those in his office but more so the service afterwards. Special regards to the billing departments of his office as well as the hospital . The billing department as well as the hospital expectation for patients to understand their structure and what their responsibilities are is relentless. I would not recommend dealing with this hospital or the staff unless the need of care dictates. The customer service and assistance is the worst that I've seen - and I'm a 20+ year veteran. This hospital is not representative of my community (which I do pay taxes for) let alone Texas: now that this hospital has had building reconstruction it should consider management restructuring.
I noticed that theStaff was somewhat disresptable to other patients as I sat waiting to be seen. Some male was very upset. Dr. Metha was outstanding as I expressed my concern if TEE complications
