Ricardo Gutierrez, MD

I saw Dr. Gutierrez several years ago for a minor illness - and I was satisfied with his service. I saw him for an appt last week and got the feeling I was being herded in and out like cattle. The nurse who did the echo barely said 2 words. The other nurse who was getting my background info talked so fast I could barely follow her and when I asked her a question b/c I could not understand what she said, she acted annoyed w/ me. I'm not sure either she entered all my info in correctly because when I did correct her, she did not resume typing to enter the new info I gave her. When she left the room she casually told me "see ya later" like was her buddy - not a patient in a professional setting. Just did not get a good vibe. Dr. Gutierrez spent about 10 mins w/ me and I also got the impression he was in a hurry to get me in and out and that he did not take me seriously. I do plan to go back for further testing and will see how my next visit goes before going w/ another Dr.

Alot of talk but no care for me as a patient. I also I left thinking, where are the real doctors in this town. So I stopped going to doctors that did not seem to care. And returned to doctors that want us to be loved on, respected, listenen too and when you walked out you had answers.

Excellent doctor! Dealing with anything related to the heart can be scary. Dr. Gutierrez takes the time to get to know you and explain what's going on. His warm and friendly style encourages questions. He really seems to care about you as a person. He's called me after 5 on a Friday night when I was unclear about a test result. He goes the extra mile. I give him my highest recommendation!

Very happy with my first visit to See Dr. Gutierrez and staff. This is how all doctors offices should be run. Friendly and professional staff. Dr. Gutierrez also was very personable. He spent time to get history and discuss the problems I was having. Then later out a plan to address my issues.

Unpersonable. Worst bed side manner ever. Didn't listen to me at all and discredited my cardiologist. Seriously the worst doctor I've ever interacted with. Wish I could give him 0 stars.
