I was very satisfied with the office visit. All the staff was professional and caring during the testing. Dr. Smith explained the results of the test in detail. He assured me that what I thought was an issue was normal. I have complete confidence in the care I received.
Dr Spata was very thorough and informative. I have had multiple cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons over the 14 plus years I have had my cardiac issues. I can honestly say that he is one that I would recommend to other patients.
Initially meeting Dr. Charles Smith in the hospital couple days before he was going to do a quadruple bypass he was harsh truthful but. I didn't like his bedside manner Everything was happening so fast I was struggling to wrap my head around it all. After the surgery and during my follow up visits he was different. more friendly & understanding. I looked forward to my appts. A couple years later I needed biopsy of a nodule on back my lung after 2 failed attempts I was told they're going to bring in top thoracic surgeon around, Dr.C Smith to operate on me, I was thrilled and relieved. He walked me through everything he was going to do, unfortunately 1 my organs had temper tantrum during surgery and he almost lost me after almost 2 weeks I was able to leave hospital he told me he wouldn't operate on me again I scared him a little. Again fast forward couple years I needed another biopsy and I requested go straight Dr C Smith regardless of what he said last time we met, again he explained the situation to me he wouldn't be able to remove these particular nodules but he felt he could get a biopsy and he did this time w no problems!!! He has been a great Dr. and if I ever need another surgery chest or heart I will always go back to him. He's the only one I trust I wish he could be my cardiologist and not just my surgeon. I feel he would take better care of me. I highly recommend him and have put my life in his hands more than once.
Dr. Campana is very caring as well as being a very accomplished surgeon. I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery.
