Heart Institute of Brownsville

My wife has received the best therapy for her sciatic pain of all the other locations where she has received therapy. Raymond is by far the most proactive and informative therapist I and my wife had ever met. We have both now joined the Heart Institute our primary health provider! They are Heart centered but also have a wide range of health services. They take insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, Credit Cards and Cash. We pay cash because regardless of insurance you can still pay for what you need not just what the insurance companies will pay for.

I feel much better with more abilities since I started. I walk better & sit better than when I started with many more improvements. I trust myself more & have more confidence to be independent. Ruben & Rey are very kind & great to work with. I would highly recommend anyone looking to do physical therapy at the Heart institute.

I would like to start off by saying.Thank you to all the staff at the brownsville heart institute. My experience with physical therapy has been tremendously helpful with decreasing my knee pain. Now I.can.get in and out.of my vehicle easier. Thank you Dr. Habet for recommending physical therapy with Raymond the therapist.

In the past few years, due to multiple injuries from a car accident and several other injuries, I have been through physical therapy with many different clinics in 3 states. I have never been this happy with any of the other clinics. Not only is the therapy working but I feel like they listen to me here. Raymond and Ruben have earned my trust. This is a big deal for me as a previous therapist actually wounded me during a session. I actually enjoy my therapy instead of dreading it. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

I am beyond frustrated and frankly, baffled with the management and scheduling at this clinic. I had an ultrasound appointment scheduled for over a week, and less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, I received a call informing me that my appointment had been arbitrarily moved up to the morning. This is absolutely unacceptable. People schedule appointments in advance for a reason...we have jobs, childcare, and other commitments. To completely disregard my pre-existing schedule with such short notice shows an alarming lack of respect for patients' time. The lack of understanding and the sheer disconnection I experienced was unreal. When I called to question the change, I was given two entirely different and contradictory reasons for the move: I was told they moved me up because there were "no patients other than myself" in the afternoon. I was then told the change was due to the staff member having an "emergency." Which is it? The inability to give a straight answer only compounded my frustration. The clinic manager was not helpful in resolving this issue or even offering a sincere apology for the massive inconvenience. Actually said the doctors were onboard with the change. This level of disorganized and disrespectful service is a serious problem. I will look for another clinic elsewhere and strongly advise others to look for a clinic that values their time and commitments.
