Chang Peter MD

Was referred to Dr. Peter Chang by my wife and PCP. The staff I dealt with were very pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Chang and his assistant took the time to listen to me, understand my concerns and explained to me in simple terms. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Appreciate the care that you receive here. The staff is professional, and Dr. Chang is an exceptional Cardiologist with a lot of experience and knowledge. Really thankful for their attention to detail that really has helped me navigate some difficult health issues.

Been going to Chang for way over several years. Everyone at the office is wonderful.

I went to Dr Chang to find out about the reason for my shortness of breath.. They did all kind of tests on me , but when I asked about the fluid around the heart which he mentioned, I was told that they haven't done that test !!!!'! Made me feel that they only want to run tests without caring for the actual patient..I also mentioned that I had this test in the Methodist but they didn't care to see it!!! Unfortunately this career has become only about the money and not about human beings!!!I also requested my medical records many times and they never send it. I don't understand why!!!!

I visited Dr. Chang last Nov & had some tests done. Since I never received the explanation of benefits from my insurance carrier, I called in Feb this year to make sure the office has filed my claim properly (my insurance claim filing time is 90 days). The billing lady was so friendly, fixed the issue & said the claim will be resubmitted. My insurance then ended. Now I have new insurance, calling to get some information before making a new appointment. The front desk lady didn't show any patience at all. I was asking her about my treatment planning (possibly more tests) & what did I did last year. All she kept asking was my new insurance info. I told her I would like to know what is Dr. Chang going to do before I am scheduling a new appointment since Dr. Chang is in-network with my policy but not in the premium network. She then gave me some amount on the procedures, and those procedures sounded really familiar. It sounded like I've done those last visit, which I actually done it already. Then, I tried to tell her about my call in Feb & my previous insurance doesn't show any payment send to them. She refused to understand the situation & said that I lied & questioned me about how I knew about insurance wasn't filed properly. Lastly, she accused me being unreasonable on the phone just because I want refund from their office. I like Dr. Chang, he is very nice and being patience with me But I will not visit him again because of how bad his front desk treats his patients. Also, the office doesn't use email to communicate, they only use fax, which I think most ppl don't have one fax at home anymore.
