Uzoamaka M. Obinabo, MD

Love Dr Obinabo, but not a fan of their new medical group WellMed. I was charged $30 for an annual wellness visit (that should have been covered under the ACA) and have spent about an hour today making phone calls over it, jumping through hoops, etc, and the rep I spoke with was neither helpful nor did she have accurate information re: the visit/what was or wasn't discussed - She did say this has been somewhat of a common occurrence, and that they are looking into it. The $30 is insignificant, but it's the hassle that is most bothersome (and the principle.)

Dr. O is great but the staff and front office are the most unprofessional people I have ever came across. I got a call to confirm my appointment that was the wrong time so beware and always record your phone calls because they will lie in your face. Got the phone hung up on me because I just stated that the times were wrong. I'll also never forget when a bunch of nurses in the back were being RACIST about Asian Americans MOCKING their accents all in front of me, a patient. I hope that only KIND EMPATHETIC and SMART people are part of the healthcare industry, but that has clearly not been the case with this office. y'all need help BAD go back to school or therapy please.

The most unprofessional front desk I've ever dealt with. Multiple calls and messages left. Very rude and a complete waste of time. After being strung along for over 3 weeks and being told she took new patients they then decided she didn't. I communicated very clearly I was in an extreme need to be seen and they could've said 3 weeks ago she wasn't taking new people. Left messages for the office manager as well and never heard a thing. If I could give zero stars I would. Unprofessional is far too nice of a word for the way that office handles anything. Stay away and save yourself the time.

Dr. Obinabo and the office staff are great! She is very attentive and detailed when explaining a diagnosis. Listens and takes her time when evaluating whatever health issue you may be going through. I feel comfortable discussing a health concern with her. I trust her with my health and to provide the correct treatment plans for whatever ails me. Without a doubt I recommend Dr. Obinabo to those seeking a compassionate, competent, and patient doctor.

Dr. Obinabo is an awesome physician! She is genuinely concerned about whatever issue you present. She takes time to explain any medications she prescribes and informs you whether a follow up is necessary. I have recommended her to several of my friends.
