Dr. Vifali is absolutely phenomenal. After taking my daughter to see him, I was so impressed with his knowledge & bedside manner that I immediately transferred my cardiac care to his practice. Highly recommend- wish I could give more than 5 stars.
I first saw Dr. Huseng Vefali of Austin Cardiology Clinic on March 17th of this year. They did a Nuclear Stress Test on May 5th and was supposed to do an Echocardiogram. My appointment was for 10am. When I arrived there was a person waiting since 8 am. It was noon before they stated doing the test. No one explained to us why the delay nor apologized. I went to the office on April 9th I went to get my results. In the exam room a NP came in. I asked where the doctor was and she said you only see the doctor the first visit and see the NP for subsequent visits she asked me why I didn't do the Echocardiogram and I said you all didn't schedule it. She left the room. After a bit she came back and said she didn't know what had happened. I had the Echocardiogram test on April 18th. I had an appointment schedule for May 9th with another cardiologist that deals with the electrical side of the heart. A medical releases was faxed to the new cardiologist on April 22nd for them to get my records from Austin Cardiology Clinic, On April 30th I faxed a request to Austin Cardiology Clinic for my medical records and submitted the form thru the patient portal. On May 5th I called Austin Cardiology Clinic and spoke to Valerie. She told me someone would call me back. Never heard back from anyone. When I went to see at the doctor at Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia they received all the records from all the other doctors except Austin Cardiology Clinic. On May 29th I filled a complaint with the Texas Medical Board. Dr. Huseng Vefali called me on June 2nd.I got my records mailed to me on June 6th.
I was terrified of the being diagnosed with heart disease. Dr. Vefali was professional and explained in lament terms my medical condition. He truly cares about his patients and his staff is super supportive and kind. Dr. Vefali performed amazing work and saved my life! I am blessed to have Dr. Vefali as my cardiologist.
