Extremely Unprofessional and Disheartening Experience While Dr. Connor may be a highly skilled surgeon, my experience as a patient has been incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I have been trying to see him for over two months for a dilated aneurysm, a very serious condition -- yet my appointment keeps being rescheduled again and again. Today was supposed to finally be my appointment at 2:45 PM, but at 10 AM, Colleen from his office called to cancel yet again, saying Dr. Connor was awake all night in surgery and needed to rest. I completely respect the demanding nature of his work, but my appointment was not early in the morning -- it was mid-afternoon. He had the entire day to rest, and canceling again at the last minute is unacceptable for a patient with a potentially fatal condition. Both my husband and I took time off work for these appointments, rearranging our schedules each time, only to be told once again that we cannot be seen. It's a complete waste of time, effort, and emotional energy, especially when dealing with something this serious. To make things worse, this is the only practice that required me to personally obtain my own imaging CDs, something every other cardiothoracic office handled themselves. After going through that extra hassle, being repeatedly canceled without urgency or accountability is beyond disappointing. If a medical practice cannot properly manage appointments or prioritize high-risk patients, it raises real concerns about how they handle critical surgical care. I would not feel comfortable trusting my heart to a team that cannot manage even a scheduled consultation. Patients deserve better -- respect, communication, and reliability -- especially when their lives are literally on the line.
Dr. Politz was incredibly professional, personable, and took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my surgery. He answered all my questions patiently and made sure I understood what to expect. I felt informed, supported, and confident in his care from start to finish.
