Austin Regional Clinic: ARC Northwest Hills Specialty

Excellent experience! The staff is very professional and caring, friendly, positive (example Dr. Richard Carnright taking the echo cardiogram, also showing extra mile care, knowledge and patience in analyzing every inch of the heart while explaining and answering every question I had during the procedure, or receptionist Noemi S with a very polite and friendly welcoming attitude). The facility is very modern with plenty of parking. I strongly recommend this place.

My doctor was Al-Aboodi. He spent a total of 5-10 minutes with me (after 2.5 hours of driving through traffic both ways) as I tried to discuss my issues with insomnia and cyclical vomiting syndrome. He didn't really address my issues, rather only presumed my issues without getting to know me further as a patient. He refused to help, he simply gave me a referral and labeling me, hence giving the referred Dr. a preconceived notion of who I am without addressing my actual problems. The only thing he helped with is lessen my trust in medical doctors. December is his last month with ARC, so I hope he's retiring and not given any more patients in the future. His bedside manner was less than desired. My appointment had been late in the day and it was obvious he was ready to go home, hence the lack of time and interest during my visit.

Went to see Dr. Darnutzer for chest pains. She's very nice. My PCP referred me here to get a stress test. I paid my copay and the Dr. listened to my heart and told me to schedule a stress test. Instead of getting me on the schedule while I was there, I now have to wait even longer to figure out what's going on with my heart. If my notes say what's wrong, then that should have been prepared for while I was there. Extremely disappointed that I wasted money for 5 minutes of nothing. Felt like a complete scam.

First ever cardiologist visit and I saw Dr. Tillman. Everything about the experience was great - reminders and directions, front desk staff, I was seen promptly and I was treated kindly and feel like everything was explained well. Can't ask for more. Would recommend.

The LVN and Physician (Dr. Al-Abboodi) were phenomenal to me, and treated me like a friend or family member. My concerns were addressed. The laboratory technician was also extremely kind and helpful as I received my test. The staff are wonderful and beautiful people who work very efficiently, I'm very thankful and recommend this clinic and staff.
