I have had a great experience with Dr Vefali. He is very kind, explains things in a way I can understand and never seems rushed. His office staff is also great. A good friend of mine who works in the medical field and knows many cardiologists recommended him, and I'm so grateful.
I had a great experience at Austin Cardiology Clinic. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and extremely organized. The medical team took their time with me, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt informed and comfortable throughout the entire visit. The cardiologist was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about my long-term health -- not just rushing through the appointment. I left feeling confident in my care plan and grateful for how thorough they were. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a cardiology team that takes your health seriously and treats you with respect.
While Dr. Vefali seems competent, his back office staff seems clueless. He requires a $500 deposit BEFORE any procedures to cover any co payments which may occur. Every other doc I've visited bills you if there is a difference in the amount the insurance covers. Ok, whatever. But now, try to get a statement of where the $500 went, or even worse, try to recover it. It took me 6 weeks after my last procedure to recover it, taking several calls to a staff who had to "check with the manager" and call me back. Once I received my money back, they had kept $65 for charges that weren't covered. Great. But wait, there's more...now I'm getting texts and bills in the mail for, wait for it.....$65. Called and asked to speak to someone about the bill and guess what. They need to talk to "the manager" and will call me back later today. Didn't happen. Poor bookkeeping, poor follow through and a "manager" who is doing their best wizard of Oz impression (behind the curtain). Not a great way to run a professional office.
Dr Vefali is a great, knowledgeable doctor who cares much about his patients. His staff has been great as well. I am so glad Dr Vefali is my cardiologist whose treatment has been essential to gain my healthy life back!
Love this clinic and the staff who works here! Amazing bedside manner, smiles and professionalism for days, all while maintaining the human factor... kindness and warmth. They take the time to listen to you and not treat you like a crazy person!
