I have been a patient of Dr. Sharma for a year. I am a fellow healthcare professional, a paramedic for over 40 years, with experience in emergency medicine including cardiac care. I have had Dr. Shishir Sharma as my cardiologist for the past 5 years. He is so good that my wife decided to make Dr. Sharma her cardiologist as well. My 5 star rating for Dr. Sharma is prompted by his diligent pursuit of my heart problems. My Fitbit watch alerted me that I might possibly be having symptoms of A-fib. When I showed this alert to Dr. Sharma, he began a series of tests that canceled an ablation and lead me to the realization that I needed open heart surgery. By the way, I showed no symptoms of A-fib. His dogged determination to make the correct diagnosis for my heart situation was impressive. I no longer require any type of blood pressure medication. So, if you are looking for a cardiologist that has his patient's best interest at heart,( no pun intended) Dr. Sharma is your man. I highly recommend him.
